Below are the (10) interactive projects at the North Shore
Sunset on the Beach. A $2.00 per person per
day fee will be administered to cover the cost
of supplies. The activities will continuously run from
noon – 6 pm on both Saturday October 2 & Sunday
October 3.
Face & Hand Paintings – Have
your face, hands, or feet creatively painted by our volunteers.
Handprint Crafts – Youth
will have an option of 3-4 projects incorporating the tracing
of our hands. These projects will include:
Body Tattoos - Choose from
a selection of customized event tattoos, different characters,
and armband tattoos.
Wild Hats, Crowns & Goggles – Plenty
and a variety of resources will be available to create ordainments
for our heads, face, and eyes.
Kamani Nut Necklaces – Sand
and decorate a previously-drilled kamani nut and create necklace
with raffia.
Freaky Halloween Crafts – With
the rapid approach of Halloween find the time to create one
of 3-4 project options.
Tile Paintings – Paint
a creative scene or setting on a 4” X 4” piece
of tile. Leave the tile to dry and return for a pick-up a few
hours later.
Edible Crafts – Enjoy
a snack while creating crafts? Sounds good to me. The ‘Cup
O Worms’ and ‘Candy Train’ creations provide
fun and a tasty delight.
Chinese Lion/Dragons – Create
a Dancing Lion, traditional for the Chinese New Year.
Hawaii-Themed Origami – A
variety of origami projects will be initiated, each one maintaining
a Hawaii theme.

Races & Games
Below is the schedule for water-based relay activities & games.
Relay races and other activities will be presented on
the hour (each hour) for approximately 20-30 minutes.
Sign-ups for these events will be available at the Youth
Interaction Creativity Projects. Participants should
be prepared to always get wet and sometimes get messy.

Contests
Below is the schedule of country fair contests. In each
contest the first round will be comprised of 8-10 participant
groups. The winning member of the group will proceed
to the next round. All competitions will be completed
in 2 or 3 rounds. There will be a maximum of 100 participants
per contest for selected events. Winners will be awarded
prizes.
