Disaster Preparedness

The North Shore Disaster Preparedness Committee (NSDPC) is a volunteer group working to better prepare the North Shore for disasters through planning, education, training, response, and relief.

The NSDPC’s main goals are to:

  1. Motivate community members to prepare themselves, family members, and businesses for potential hazards
  2. Increase recruitment for Red Cross Shelter training and Community Emergency Response Training (CERT)
  3. Develop and maintain a North Shore community preparedness plan

Click here to view the current North Shore Disaster Preparedness Action Plan.

To learn more or get involved with the NSDPC, please visit Your Disaster Plan or contact Antya Miller at (808) 342-8557.
