Celebrating 40 Years of Serving the North Shore of Oʻahu

The North Shore Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the North Shore community by advocating for infrastructure improvements, supporting small businesses, and promoting environmental stewardship.

Monitoring and Tracking State and County Legislation: The Chamber keeps members informed of policies affecting small businesses and community quality of life. By serving as your eyes and ears in local government, the Chamber ensures your voice is represented, advocating proactively for laws and initiatives that foster a thriving economic environment, protect our natural resources, and enhance the overall wellbeing of our residents and business owners.
Advocating for Infrastructure Improvements:
The Chamber has a history of championing long-term solutions to address both current and future infrastructure needs.Notable accomplishments include:

  • Visitor and Business Services Center: Relocated and restored the historic Haleiwa Mutual Telephone Building to serve as the Chamber's new headquarters, funded through grants and community support.
  • Anahulu Bridge Renovation: Advocated for the $3.1 million renovation of this key landmark, ensuring its preservation and functionality.
Supporting Small Businesses:
Recognizing that small businesses are vital to the community's economic health, the Chamber actively promotes economic development by:
