Disaster Preparedness
The North Shore Disaster Preparedness Committee (NSDPC) is a volunteer group working to better prepare the North Shore for disasters through planning, education, training, response, and relief. The NSDPC’s main goals are to:
- Motivate community members to prepare themselves, family members, and businesses for potential hazards
- Increase recruitment for Red Cross Shelter training and Community Emergency Response Training (CERT)
- Develop and maintain a North Shore disaster preparedness action plan (view the current plan here)
To learn more or get involved with the NSDPC, please visit Your Disaster Plan.
