This striking white obelisk stands as a tribute to the brave veterans from the area who made the ultimate sacrifice during World War II, the Korean conflict, and the Vietnam War. Notably, among the 16 names commemorated for World War II, 14 were of Japanese ancestry, highlighting the diversity within the American military during that period.
The Waialua-Kahuku War Memorial serves as a solemn memorial, honoring the residents of the Waialua-Kahuku Area who gave their lives in service to their country across three significant wars.
